Le 8 mars, les enfants ont réservé une surprise aux personnes âgées du Centre Nadine Basmadjian par une présentation de chants et de danses, ainsi qu’avec des anecdotes humoristiques sur Gyumri.
La fête de St. Vartan
Le 21 février, les enfants ont célébré la fête de St. Vartan et de ses 1036 compagnons martyrs qui ont lutté contre la Perse pour leur foi chrétienne et leur identité arménienne. L’événement a débuté avec le discours de Vartan, suivi de chants et d’allocutions patriotiques.
2019 SUMMER CAMP PREPARATIONS
On 15 April 2019, we will start the Our Lady of Armenia Camp 2019 program. The Camp preparations will begin with home visitations in order to make selection decisions and to distribute camper application forms. The Summer Camp 2019 will be held from June 13 through August 27 in five different sessions. A total of some 900 needy, at-risk, war-affected children and orphans, ages 8 to 14, will participate in the program.
